I had the privilege this morning of stumbling upon the making of a magnificent mural in downtown Lynn. Three artists that specialize in the mural, David Fichter, Yetti Frenkel and Joshua Winer, are collaborating on the project that is slowly blossoming on the side of the LynnArts building. Chances are you’ve seen their work elsewhere without even knowing it.

- Yetti Frenel, native of Lynn, also has a studio here.
The 17 foot, 3 story mural is a project of LynnArts. The bottom third will feature mosaic panels created by Lynn students. The mosaics of the two schools that have completed theirs are featured in the LynnArts front window where you can also see offerings from the LynnArts Holiday Show and Sale open until December 30.
The LynnArts website has a page devoted to the mural project where you can see a sketch of the whole design, developed with input from the Lynn community. The bottom third is projected to be finished by this Spring.
