Year Up is a nonprofit I support.  Their mission is to close the opportunity divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education.  As a fast growing non profit, Year Up is currently serving over 1000 students in 6 cities. Boston is one of these cities, and the Boston office’s reach includes the greater Boston area, so Lynn is also a beneficiary.

Year Up is in a heated competition to win $200,000 from American Express.  They are in second place as I write this and need 1500 votes by Sunday to take over the lead.  Please join me in clicking on this link, www.yearup.org/vote, registering and voting for Year Up under the education category. Year Up Boston holds Open Houses every Wednesday from 2:30-4:00pm at 93 Summer Street.  To speak with an admissions representative about coming to an open house please call (617) 542-1533.

By spending 5 minutes to take this action, you will potentially help 40 more urban young adults gain access to opportunity.
